The traveling exhibition of national and international photography, which visited Mendoza and Cordoba in 2018, presents a corpus of outstanding pieces from the Museum's photographic collection, from authors such as Henri Cartier Bresson, Annemarie Heinrich, Lola Álvarez Bravo, Graciela Iturbide, Robert Doisneau, Claudia Andujar, Sara Facio and Marcos López, among others. The exhibition, curated by Verónica Tell, is divided into two main themes: "Cities and their worlds" and "Forms of subjectivity". The first is a selection of photographs that focus on urban scenes: in the city as a physical, symbolic and political space; how the city is inhabited in a personal way; and in the universes that the photographer discovers and cuts while searching for the image he wants to capture. The second core focuses on the various forms of the portrait and includes images of personalities, self-portraits, photographs of family groups, nudes and ethnographic records.
