Amigos del Bellas Artes

La Asociación Amigos del Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (Friends of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes Association), is a non-profit association that first emerged in 1931 in order to promote the development of local art and expand the Museum’s patrimony.

Thanks to contributions from its members, individual donations, specific fund-raising events and various activities it carries out, the Association accompanies the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in hosting temporary exhibitions, updating its patrimony by way of donated artworks, broadening its cultural outreach services, making renovations to the building and through support for operational expenses.
