“Raquel Calles de Edelman” Library, at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, was created with the purpose of encouraging wider circulation of visual arts culture, and bringing together its patrimony began as soon as the Museum itself was founded.

It is considered to be the most important library specializing in the visual arts to be found in Argentina.

The Library’s collection includes over 110,000 books, 54,000 press articles and pamphlets and more than 1,830 periodical titles. Featured in its special collections are the Instituto Torcuato Di Tella, Jorge Romero Brest, Damián Bayón and Jorge López Anaya, among many others.     

Visiting hours:

-Tuesday to Friday, 11 am to 5 pm.

-Saturday, 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.
